ABOUT CAPOEIRA
Capoeira is an interesting game to watch and play since both players can communicate with each other by using kicks, acrobatics and defence elements. By participating, you can check how well you are able to communicate with other Capoeiristas. It can best be compared to a chess match, as it involves the mind, intelligence and focus.
Surely, it can be compared to the chess match as the mind, focus and intelligence are also involved during the game.

ABOUT CAPOEIRA REGIONAL
Capoeira Academy ACMB London promotes and trains mainly in Capoeira Regional style, which was created by Mestre Bimba in Salvador, Bahia.
It is a fast-paced, contact-oriented and intensive style, which is why it is favoured by observers.
“Do not be afraid to get close to your opponent. The closer you are, the more you will learn.”
- Mestre Bimba -What is Roda?
Roda is a circle made with other Capoeiristas singing and clapping hands to create energy (axe) for two players having a game inside it.
Roda is orchestrated by people playing on at least one Berimbau and two painderos. It is important to play Capoeira in Roda as often as possible in order to test yourself and brush the skills gained during the training.
It will allow you to become more confident in yourself, and at the same time make playing Capoeira with other people more enjoyable.
MEET THE INSTRUCTOR
Grzegorz Greczuk (Prof. I Sagat)
The classes are conducted by Grzegorz Sagat Greczuk, who has been practicing the art of capoeira for over 25 years and has been a trainer for over 20 years. His adventure with martial art began in Grupa Magia. The group then became part of the Associacao de Capoeira Mestre Vermelho 27 – Aguia Branca, to transform in 2003 into the UNICAR group that exists today. In 2019, Grzegorz opened a branch of the ACMB group in London, which is successfully operating today. An important event in his life was the award of the Corda Professor title during Siribinha 2020, an event attended by about 200 people from around the world and from many capoeira groups.
